Record Scale
Dogger Bank features 277 turbines, each standing 260 meters tall with 107-meter blades. Total capacity of 3.6 gigawatts makes it the largest offshore wind installation ever constructed.
Clean Energy Impact
The project will generate enough electricity for 6 million homes, roughly 5% of UK demand. It displaces approximately 4 million tons of CO2 annually compared to gas generation.
Economic Benefits
Construction created 10,000 jobs in northeast England. Operational jobs and supply chain opportunities will continue for the project's 25-year lifespan.
